Angry Chickz Is Turning Up the Heat on Expansion

We’re continuing to grow — and Restaurant Business is taking notice.
In a recent feature, the publication highlighted our momentum in one of the restaurant industry’s most competitive categories. In 2025, we posted nearly 50% year-over-year sales growth, finishing the year with approximately $83 million in sales while continuing to expand into new markets.
The article features insights from John Scott, our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, who shares more about the systems, people, and processes behind our growth. He also discusses our approach to franchising and why finding the right operators — people who align with our culture and are committed to delivering the Angry Chickz experience — is so important to us.
Today, we have about 45 restaurants across five states, with more locations on the way. Average unit volumes of more than $2.7 million, a growing development pipeline, and a thoughtful approach to real estate and franchise partnerships are helping us build for the next stage of expansion.
As we enter new communities, staying connected locally remains a big part of how we grow. From partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations to local murals and unique restaurant designs, we want every Angry Chickz location to feel like part of the neighborhood it serves.
At the center of it all is what has always driven us: bold Nashville Hot Chicken, six heat levels, generous portions, strong value, and memorable customer service.
With more restaurants in development and the 100-unit milestone coming into view, we’re excited about what’s ahead.
