Angry Chickz Expands to Texas: Houston Welcomes Signature Flavors

Angry Chickz is excited to announce its expansion into Texas, with the first location set to open in Houston this October. This marks a significant milestone as we bring our beloved spicy chicken to the Lone Star State. Jim Wang, a seasoned restaurateur with over 50 restaurants across seven states, including 14 JINYA Ramen Bars, is leading this expansion. After experiencing Angry Chickz in Aliso Viejo, Jim recognized the unique flavors and growth potential of our brand.

"While visiting California, I discovered Angry Chickz and was immediately drawn to its distinctive history and incredible chicken," said Jim Wang. "The chicken was not only fantastic, but I also saw immense potential for this concept to stand out in the competitive chicken category."

Jim Wang's development agreement aims to bring our signature heat and flavors to Texas, starting with the Houston location. With Jim's extensive experience and passion for the restaurant industry, we are confident that this launch will be a swift success.

"Welcoming Jim to the Angry Chickz family is a significant milestone for us," said David Mkhitaryan, Founder and CEO of Angry Chickz. "Strategic franchise partnerships like this allow us to reach more communities, create jobs, and spread the joy of our signature hot chicken."

Founded in 2018, Angry Chickz has quickly gained a cult following for its spicy chicken sandwiches, tenders, and legendary mac & cheese. Our mission is to bring communities together through our bold flavors and spices, and we are excited to extend this mission to Texas.
