SANTA MARIA, Calif. (May 12, 2026) – Angry Chickz is continuing its California growth with a new stop on the Central Coast. The Nashville hot chicken brand will open its first Santa Maria location on June 5 at 2102 S. Bradley Road, marking its 33rd restaurant in California and 38th nationwide.

With its arrival, Angry Chickz brings a menu centered on bold, made-to-order hot chicken and a choose-your-own heat experience that’s helped the brand build a loyal following across the state. Guests can dial up (or down) the spice across six levels, from no-heat “Country” to the brand’s signature “Angry” tier — a level so intense it requires a waiver.
The menu keeps things tight and focused, featuring tenders, sliders and bowls designed for repeat visits, alongside loaded options like the Angry Mac — a combination of crispy chicken, fries and creamy mac and cheese that’s become a go-to for regulars.
